The loss of a child marks the beginning of a journey through grief or one of crippling pain, sorrow, doubts, perplexities, confusion, anger and despair.
"Mothers Like Me" was created by moms who have personally experienced the pain and sorrow connected to the loss of a child and who have also experienced God's great exchange as
"He gives beauty for ashes, joy for mourning, praise for the spirit of heavniness . . . " (Isaiah 61:3)
Whether new or further along in loss, our Christian faith-based ministry is designed to help you find your way through the difficult journey of grief within a Christ-centered community of moms. You are welcome and accepted just as you are because we have walked where you are walking now, we truly care about you and consider it a blessing to be able to companion with you, offering our love, comfort, hope and encouragement, as "we ourselves have been comforted."

Our Mission and Purpose
To provide a welcoming, accepting and "safe" connection for women who have suffered the loss of a child to share something of their grief, and to receive understanding, compassion, comfort, hope and encouragement.
To provide opportunities for remembering, honoring and celebrating our beloved children who are no longer here with us.
To provide encouragement to grieving moms to draw closer to God to experience a deeper level of intimacy and dependency upon Him in response to the pain and sorrow of our loss. "And, when you draw close to God, God will draw close to you." (James 4:8)
To provide opportunities to cultivate lasting friendships and fellowship.
To provide ongoing care and support as needed.
Our Vision is to encourage, equip and support a network of faith-filled, compassionate women who will comfort others, as they themselves have been comforted. "We comfort others as we ourselves have been comforted." -II Corinthians 1:4
Our Guiding Scripture is Isaiah 61:3 "He gives beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord that He might be glorified."

Based in Fort Collins, Colorado, Mothers Like Me is committed to "helping more moms in more places."
